Start your journey with a peaceful somatic & contact improvisation retreat on the lush, forested peninsula of Nesodden. Just a short walk from the sea and surrounded by nature, this is an opportunity to slow down and reconnect—with yourself, with others, and with the natural world.

Part 2: Oslo Intensive – Move, Fly & Explore
Dates: 4. - 6. of July
Location: Scenehuset, Majorstuen, Oslo
After the spaciousness of the retreat, take your practice into the vibrant city for a weekend of dynamic exploration and creative play.
This Contact Improvisation intensive is for dancers ready to dive deeper. We’ll explore the interplay between structure and spontaneity, softness and strength, grounding and flight.

Group Size: Limited to keep it intimate—register early!
Accommodation & Meals: Simple sleeping in tent onsite or shared dorm included in the Nesodden retreat (there are plenty of airbnbs around also if you need more comfort/ accommodation not included in Oslo, though there are many good options around, contact us for suggestions of sleeping places nearby in Oslo.
Juli Gábor (HU/AT)
is a dancer, dance pedagogue and a bodyworker based in Vienna, Austria. She holds a Bachelor in Danish Psychomotor and Relaxation Therapy (2014) as well she is an Ilan Lev Method Practitioner. Amongst practicing various dance forms, her main focus has from early on been contact improvisation, with around 25 years of experience.
She has studied in-depth with Eszter Gál, Scott Wells, Sabine Parzer and many other teachers. Since 2021, she is a teacher at the Movement Lab dance education program alongside Matan Levkowich in Vienna. As performer with over 15 years of experience, her focus gravitates towards improvisation scores, site-specific dances engaging in multidisciplinary performances.
The most important keywords for Juli are EASE, JOY & PLAYFULNESS - she seeks to practice these qualities in all aspects of her life as well as trying to transmit these in her teaching and bodywork sessions.
Péter Lipka (HU)
is a contact improvisation teacher and dance therapy group facilitator based in Budapest, Hungary. He previously worked as a professional performer in the world of contemporary dance theatre. For over 15 years, he has been leading contact improvisation trainings and developmental groups, and during this time he also trained as a movement and dance therapist.
His workshops focus on growth, development, and authentic self-expression and presence—whether through contact improvisation or self-exploration. He enjoys blending experiences from other techniques, experimenting with a variety of tools to support shared discovery and growth. Péter is an active figure in Budapest’s contact improvisation scene.
He is the founder of the Kontakt Budapest Studio and he leads jams, workshops, organizes festivals, and facilitates CI performances.
Vemund Skulberg (NO)
is an experienced movement teacher from Norway, he is part of the organizing team behind the Oslo Kontaktimpro weekly jams and have hosted several contact improvisation workshops, festivals and jams in Oslo and surrounding area.
He is also an inspire-by Fighting Monkey instructor, having studied with Jozef Frucek in the mentorship program and have studied fascial fitness and dance movement therapy. He is passionate about teaching movement and sharing his joy and love of dancing.
